About the Role
Mercor is building a team to develop an advanced scientific coding benchmark, building on the SciCode benchmark, to challenge and improve LLMs. As a STEM Research Intelligence Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating and refining complex coding problems that push the limits of AI capabilities. This project offers flexibility to work remotely on your own schedule, with the expectation that you deliver high-quality, completed problems.
What You’ll Do:
- Refresh Existing Problems: Update and refine incomplete or incorrect scientific coding problems from the SciCode benchmark to ensure accuracy and rigor.
- Create New Challenges: Design innovative, high-difficulty coding problems tied to your specific area of research expertise.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside other top researchers to review, refine, and validate problems, fostering a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $75 per hour, with additional bonus pay opportunities.
